The Role
As Sales Representative, you'll be the face of getoday on the ground — visiting local shops and businesses in person, introducing them to the getoday Seller Centre, and helping them sign up to sell on our marketplace. This is an outgoing, target-driven role for someone who's confident starting conversations with strangers and enjoys being out and about rather than behind a desk.
What you'll do
- Visit shops and businesses across assigned areas to introduce getoday's Seller Centre
- Explain the benefits of joining the getoday marketplace and answer initial questions
- Sign up interested businesses on the spot or guide them through the onboarding process
- Keep track of shops visited, outcomes, and follow-ups needed
- Report daily/weekly progress and sign-up numbers to the team
- Build relationships with local business owners to support long-term seller retention
- Represent the getoday brand professionally at all times
What we're looking for
- Confident, friendly, and comfortable approaching people face-to-face
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently out in the field
- Reliable, punctual, and target-driven
- Comfortable walking/travelling between multiple locations during shifts
- Sales, retail, or customer-facing experience is a plus but not required
- Must be based in or able to travel around London
Details
- Part-time, flexible hours
- Field-based role — most time spent visiting shops rather than at an office
- Performance-based payment
- Reports directly to the founder / business development lead
